The AIZ’s Uhlhof Manor is nestled in an idyllic 3,000 square-metre park directly right by the River Rhine.
200 kilometres of hiking trails await visitors, winding through mountains and valleys with fabulous vistas of the Rhine Valley and the Eifel. The Siebengebirge area (literally “the seven mountains”) with around 42 peaks is Germany’s oldest nature preserve (established in 1836) and the first nature park in North Rhine-Westphalia (established in 1958). The vineyards around Bad Honnef and Königswinter form the northernmost winegrowing area on the right bank of the River Rhine. In addition to leisure and sporting activities, the area has a number of sights well worth a visit.
