Management and leadership

In view of the interaction between strategy-oriented organizational and human resource development, we offer support with topics related to international human resource development. These include consulting, monitoring and concept development as well as implementation in the form of tailor-made qualification concepts.

Training in culturally sensitive management and consulting procedures is a central element of internatio-nal personnel development. As a participant in our courses, you will have ample opportunity to actively practise methods and tools designed to assist you in fulfilling your professional responsibilities. The knowledge you will acquire and practical exercises are all designed to suit your specific post abroad and to help you work effectively as part of an intercultural team.
We offer 22 courses on a variety of management and consulting topics along with two courses for accompanying partners and spouses. Our courses focus on the following topics:

Projectmanagement

Here the focus is on techniques and methods for the planning, monitoring and results orientation of projects and programmes. The courses on leading an international project team and training for highly experienced experts are two specific courses offered in this area. Individual courses are also offered in English.

Organisation and management consulting

Professionally advising partners and counterparts and supervising processes of organisational change are the main focal points here. We also recently added training courses for consultants with extensive experience in the field.

Conflict and risk management

Central issues here include dealing with “unstable situations”, with conflicts, crises, and stress. Our security training seminars are a special focal point.

Developing teaching and didactic skills

In addition to designing workshops, the focus here is on participative methods and tools for acquiring skills (individual advice on effective learning strategies, coaching and self-study phases).

Courses for accompanying partners and spouses

These courses address issues such as the role and self-image of an accompanying partner or spouse. We also examine the best methods for preparing children of all ages to adjust to living abroad.
