Development policy

The Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) offers training seminars on development policies to discuss and reflect on the impact of the Millennium Development Goals, the Paris Declaration, development financing or the goal of “development cooperation from a single source” for work in international cooperation.
Seminars on development policy
It is our goal to help experts active in development cooperation improve their orientation within the context of development cooperation and enhance their competence in development policies. In our seminars, participants reflect on concepts and practice in development cooperation, analyse case studies and explore their own responsibilities.
Both beginners and experienced experts in development cooperation will find that the AIZ offers interesting courses in development policies designed to meet their needs. Our basic courses are rounded out by sector-specific seminars on such topics as governance issues, decentralisation, sustainable management and environmental policy.
Seminars in English
We offer seminars in English in keeping with the general trend towards internationalisation and expanding European networks. The seminars conducted in English are attended by experts with a need for advanced training and a good command of the English language – also from outside Germany’s borders.
