In the age of globalisation and internationalisation international management skills are of the utmost importance in almost all professional areas. Posts abroad and the internationalisation of our immediate working environment have made engaging with cultural diversity part of our everyday lives. Inwent’s Training Centre for Development Cooperation (V-EZ) provides expert support by offering training courses and self-study options on the basis of individual advice on effective learning strategies.
Preparing to work abroad
In our preparation courses (intercultural competence and country analysis) you will learn about the values and behaviours of the country and region you will work in, and you will also reflect on your own cultural context and consciousness. Our experienced trainers can guide you in developing appropriate ways of behaving in the situations likely to await you in your host country.
Development policy
Our development policy courses provide the know-how – and the “know-who” – you need to effectively assist your partners in achieving the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals.
Management and leadership
Our management courses offer methods and tools specifically designed for your field of work in international cooperation.
Language and communication
Our language and communication training courses equip you to work abroad successfully. Our language training programmes are more than just language. They include communication techniques to help you conduct talks and build networks. We will also work with you on developing strategies for continued learning in your host country.
