Participants in GIZ training programmes in Germany profit from our modern and practice-oriented educational system as well as from intercultural exchanges with colleagues. Personal and professional contacts to Germany and people from all over the globe are formed here, and practical internships in institutions or firms often lead to long-lasting business relationships.

We design our range of advanced training programmes for experts and executives from industrial and transition countries to focus on commercial and technical branches, on management and trade. We also have a whole array of interesting opportunities for trainees and those just entering the job market.

Our range of programmes in Germany for experts and executives is continually expanding. Participants learn and work in a stimulating political and scientific environment: The unification of the two German nations, the European Union’s expansion to the east, the transformation of large industrial regions into service and science centres, the creation of new alternative energy sources and the increasing incorporation of Germany into the global knowledge community are all great challenges facing those responsible for supervising and influencing these processes of change. This gives Germany as a centre of learning a distinct advantage: Training programme participants here observe first hand how such processes of change can be managed and shaped to be sustainable. They can then put the experience gained to practical use in their own homelands and on the international stage as well. Skills acquired in seminars and workshops are rounded-out by insight gained in practical internships at German institutions and firms. We offer German language courses to most participants prior to their stay in Germany which can be continued at our Intercultural Training and Service Centre in Saarbrücken.
