Alumni at Inwent - our philosophy
The contacts Inwent programme participants develop during training are a key factor for the sustainability of our programs. Our networks help our alumni stay in contact and promote the exchange of information and experience among experts and executives the world over. After all, working together is the most effective way to find the best solutions to global challenges.
The Inwent Alumni Programme offers participants access to a world-wide network of Inwent alumni . We offer alumni a common basis for exchange, a place to ask questions and support one another. We promote the continuing development of knowledge gained in Inwent seminars and workshops and facilitate its transfer into projects – in a network of experts from all imaginable professional areas with local and regional know-how.
More than 300,000 alumni are currently registered in the Inwent Alumni Programme. In addition to a range of online services such as the Inwent Alumni Portal, the programme, specialized and regional network portals and the e-learning courses offered at Global Campus 21®, the Inwent Alumni Programme also offers users an opportunity to participate in alumni events and directly exchange ideas and information.
All offers we provide for alumni can be found on the Alumni Portal at www.inwent.org/alumni as a platform for learning, information and communication. It is open to anybody connected with Inwent: former and current participants of Inwent advanced training, co-operation partners, and alumni from other German organizations.
The Alumni Portal is also a platform to communicate with participants from different professional fields. In addition, the Alumni Portal offers examples of other alumni’s work, monthly focal point topics, and alumni portraits. Alumni Newsletter
The electronic newsletter is published in cooperation with Deutsche Welle and can be subscribed to via www.inwent.org/alumni.
Alumni Program of Inwent’s regional office Jakarta
As the regional office in Jakarta was just recently established, the Alumni Programme is still in the start-up phase. Alumni from the Philippines are currently managed by the Inwent Programme and Alumni Coordinator based in Manila.
