Journals

The library provides access to about 440 national and international journals in the field of development cooperation, both in print and online. They are predominantly published in German, English and French, and some also in Spanish.

Electronic Journals Library

Print and online journals can also be found using the Electronic Journals Library (Zeitschriftendatenbank, ZDB).

The ZDB is the world’s largest specialized database for serial titles (journals, annuals, newspapers etc., incl. e-journals) and cooperates with the Electronic Journals Library. The journals of the GIZ Documentation Centre and Library in the ZDB are marked with *Bo 149*.

 

Journals available in the GIZ Library can also be found in the Electronic Journals Library:

  • freely available full-text articles are marked with a green dot
  • restricted full-text access is marked with a yellow dot
  • non-accessible full-text articles are marked with a red dot.
