Contributions from the Column InWEnt News Cuba campaigns for energy conservation ASEAN – Regional trade and sustainability 2002 annual report 10/2003   More projects than planned were supported last year by InWEnt. That is confirmed in the organisation’s 2002 annual report, which was presented in July and is available in German and English. The budget for financing projects stood at some 93 million euros in the year under review. Of that total, 53.8 million was spent on programmes in developing countries, 11.5 million in transition countries and 27.8 million in industrial countries. Apart from reviewing financial developments, the report also looks at InWEnt’s present structure and contains profiles of the individual departments. Their programmes – practical further education, intercultural training, policy and professional dialogue – empower people to help shape the structure of government, business and civil society in their home country.
